Understanding CIPN

Why neuropathy can persist after treatment

Treatment ends — but symptoms don't always go with it. What the science tells us.

The myth of "it goes away"

Many people are told their neuropathy will fade once chemotherapy ends. For some it does. For others it does not — and that gap between expectation and experience is one of the hardest parts of CIPN.

Why nerves take time

Peripheral nerves regenerate slowly — about a millimeter a day in ideal conditions. Add accumulated damage to myelin and mitochondria, ongoing low-grade inflammation, and individual variation in how nerves recover, and persistence becomes easier to understand.

Supporting recovery

Recovery is rarely instant, but it is meaningful when it comes. Consistent, science-informed support — covering myelin building blocks, energy, and inflammatory balance — gives nerves a better environment in which to repair.
