“My goal has always been to make cancer therapy more bearable, so patients can focus on what matters most — living fuller lives.”

Dr. Raffaele Migliaccio
Oncologist · Researcher · Innovator
Dr. Raffaele Migliaccio is an Italian internist and oncologist recognized for his work in supportive cancer care, with a focus on improving quality of life during treatment. He is the creator of the formulation behind OnLife® — now Novilora® in the U.S. — a combination of specific fatty acids and palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) developed to support nerve health in people impacted by chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and other cancer treatment-related challenges.
He is President of Again Life Italia and a named inventor on the patent family covering the combination of specific fatty acids and PEA underlying OnLife®. He is actively involved in the expansion of Novilora® in the United States, working to bring this science-based approach to more patients and healthcare providers.

A career dedicated to patients
Throughout his career, Dr. Migliaccio has been committed to reducing the physical and emotional burden of cancer treatment. His work focuses on the role of specific fatty acids and palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), known as Adelmidrol, in supporting the body’s natural processes — including nerve health, inflammation balance and cell membrane integrity.
Through his research and clinical experience, he has helped establish the scientific foundation for Novilora®, including the STEFANO study — a prospective, multicenter, single-arm observational evaluation. Observational findings describe outcomes over time and cannot establish cause and effect.
Key contributions & focus areas

Working alongside leading institutions
Dr. Migliaccio contributes research and clinical experience through collaborations with academic research groups.

University of Milan
Dr. Migliaccio collaborates with the University of Milan, contributing research and clinical experience in nutritional approaches to support cancer care.

Stanford University
Dr. Migliaccio also works with researchers at Stanford University, helping to advance the study of fatty acids, PEA (Adelmidrol) and their role in supportive cancer care.
A combined fatty-acid + PEA formulation
OnLife® pairs palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) with a defined profile of specific fatty acids selected for their roles in nerve structure, signaling and cellular function.
Scientific rationale does not establish clinical efficacy. Clinical outcomes for the formulation are summarized separately in the STEFANO observational study, which was single-arm and not randomized or placebo-controlled.
